The LeishVet ALIVE International Leishmaniosis Event venue is in the conference centre of the Hotel Meliá Costa del Sol in Spain
We will be offering a hybrid event, where, apart from online attendance, there will be an opportunity to be present at the conference and take part in all the activities such as the informal get together or the conference dinner on Saturday evening. For those that choose the presential option, the ALIVE 2022 event will be held in Hotel Meliá Costa del Sol. This magnificent resort is located in Málaga where visitors will be able to enjoy all that the Costa del Sol and its beaches have to offer.
The fantastic Convention Centre is equipped with the latest technology and has the latest audiovisual equipment. It has 11 meeting and banqueting rooms all with natural light and a capacity for up to 600 people – the perfect place for any type of event.
The hotel has 538 rooms and suites with stunning sea views. There are a number of different lunch and dining spaces (outdoor Rooftop Terrace, Chiringuito on the beach, Buffet Restaurant and Lobby Bar) as well as an outdoor pool overlooking the sea surrounded by gardens.
For those that want to be pampered the Thalasso Spa measuring 350 m2 is equipped with a sea-water pool at 36ºC, a steam bath, a sauna, two massage cabins (one for two people) and a relaxation area. And for those that want to keep fit, apart from spectacular jogging along the seafront, there is a gym that is open 24 hours a day.

In the times we find ourselves we certainly hope that by March 2022 the pandemic will be fading into history. However, we will keep safety in mind and the hotel specifically says:
